Ibiza
With its unspoilt sandy coves and pink pastel sunsets, nowhere does summer quite like the White Isle. This year, experience the magic yourself as Casa Cook opens its doors on the sapphire shores of Ibiza. Opening late summer 2019, the newly built hotel is the latest of Thomas Cook’s award-winning collection of boutique hotels, designed with the postmodern traveller in mind.
Set on the western shores of San Antonio - also known as the birthplace of Café del Mar - the 80-rooms retreat offers luxury in its simplest form. Blending minimalism with Mediterranean living, the hideaway builds on the dramatic local landscape to create unique spaces that are handcrafted to perfection. Concrete walls and timber screens cut through the terrain creating contrasts between light and shadow, forming spaces that invite you to lounge and linger with friends both old and new.

The rooms – which range from Double Standard to Penthouse Rooms – have been artfully designed to seamlessly blur the boundary between interior and exterior, with privacy at the crux. The décor is sublime and relaxed, peppered with refined natural materials such as rattan and stained oak. Reclaimed timber and rammed concrete are enhanced with an assortment of palms and local foliage.
Nurse your hangover in the main “Kitchen Club” restaurant with locally-inspired cuisine or, as the sun sets, start your evening with a drink to the DJ’s latest tunes at our contemporary lounge area by the pool.

Here, the unique architectural design and curated mix of materials create the ideal space for likeminded travelers to relax and revel together. From start to finish, Casa Cook Ibiza lures you into an intoxicating Ibizan love affair – offering an unmissable opportunity to escape the mundane and experience your own little slice of exclusive bohemia.

El Gouna

Azure blue lagoons, sweeping vistas and rolling dunes. This is Egypt. Explore the shores of the Red Sea from Casa Cook’s latest hideaway. Opening in October 2019, the newly built hotel is the fifth of Thomas Cook’s award-winning collection of boutique hotels, designed with the postmodern family in mind.
Flanked by palms and perched amidst the desert dunes, the 100-room family-friendly hotel is the perfect base to relax and unwind this summer. The rugged landscape is juxtaposed with contemporary Arabic architecture and a thriving tropical jungle – your own secluded settlement.

The rooms – ranging from Standard Rooms to Villas – feel earthy and private, like a home away from home. Each room features an own private terrace, while the Premium Roof Terrace rooms boast expansive sunset views. Shades of orange and red offset the darker nuances of green and blue, while raw wooden furnishings and tarnished ceramics create a sense of pared back luxury. Décor is simple and chic, complimented with rattan interiors and neutral linens.
Regal Egyptian forms, striking rock formations and the dramatic play of light create an ethereal feel, simplifying the elements down into their bare essentials. The desert-style Beach Club opens onto panoramic views of the lagoon, gently lapping the edge of the Red Sea.

Spend your days by the pool, indulging at the spa, exploring archaeological treasures or experiencing the world-class diving and kitesurfing on offer. A bespoke kids concept ensures that the little ones enjoy their holiday just as much as their parents do, encouraging them to follow their creative pursuits through curated activities and crafts.
Dwarfed by the majesty of the landscape, Casa Cook El Gouna is your remote modern oasis. A rugged desert escape and a breezy beachfront hideaway all in one – the perfect place to unplug with family and friends.

RED SEA OASIS

El Gouna shows us a different side to Egypt. Framed by palms and huddled along the shores of the Red Sea, it's known for its lagoons, bright coral reefs and sandy beaches. Any given day can see you diving with dolphins in the clear blue lagoons or sweeping through the sand dunes on a desert safari. A bustling gastronomic scene provides plenty of indigenous restaurants and more modern eateries, while the marina is dotted with bars and shopping options.
